Join p:ear for their 10th anniversary to celebrate the outstanding services they’ve provided for Portland’s homeless and parent-less youth. Nowhere else do these kids get the one-on-one mentoring that can help them bridge that enormous gap from being “post-risk” to “at-risk,” a place from which there is hope and opportunity to grow. p:ear is changing the narrative of these young peoples’ lives, and this is your opportunity to enter into p:ear’s story…
Known for being one of Portland’s most innovative, creative and fun annual fundraisers, pbX, will focus on the idea of “Story.” From the Expression Bar (the facepaint / button bar at which you are adorned with One Word that will both surprise and describe you) to the Impressions Bar (where you’ll enjoy Mitchell Wines or choose between “The Truth” or “The Lies” cocktails!) to the stories conveyed through spoken word, performance and music. Our special guests and speakers include: Kristy Edmunds, founder of PICA, The Northwest Dance Project, Y La Bamba and others.
Menu: Baked Goat Cheese Salad, Hazelnut-Crusted Salmon with Wild Rice Pilaf and Creamed Kale. Coffee and Desserts by Random Order Bakery, Cupcake Jones and Sisters Coffee. Wine by Owen Roe and Dalla Terra.

On Saturday May 26th, 18 of you will enjoy a rare culinary experience as Taste Unique Chef Stefania Toscano prepares a 5 course meal from an original copy of Il Cuoco Maceratese (the famous 18th Century Italian cookbook) carefully paired with Italian small vineyard wines by Tom Kelly, who will share his behind-the-scenes knowledge of these charismatic old-world vinters. While Olivia Duffy will be plays period music on her mandolin, you’ll be experiencing a historic night of food and wine.
